About Eresha Changien:

I am a young, vibrant and hardworking lady , a mom and a wife with very big dreams and aspirations. I have been working for my family business for over 9 years doing basic bookkeeping and office management . I grew so much in these past years trying to maintain the current business  and build it to higher strengths. 

I have grown as an independent person and realised that I needed to do more and learn more at the same time. In saying that I am currently in my second year of completing my Financial degree which I am so blessed to do. During Covid-19 I saw the need to educate myself in order to secure a better future for myself and my family. My current goal is to gain experience in the financial field. 

I am very ambitious and strive to work hard and always complete my tasks to the best of my ability. I aim to work beyond what is needed from me at all times.

I am very reliable and I adapt to my surroundings very quickly in order to perform better. I want to continue to educate myself and plan on doing my CFA qualification in the long term.

Experience

My current position is a junior bookkkeeper and Office manager .

 As part of my bookkeeping function in the business I keep records of financial transactions within the business. Verifiy , allocate and post details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in the journals or accounting system from documents, such as sales slip, invoices, receipts and computer print outs. 
I also do the following :
Processing payments
Reconciling debtors accounts
In charge of sending statements every month end to clients 
Processing credit notes
Follow up on outstanding accounts, creditors control
Processing client invoices on Xero and Sage
Payroll for employees on Sage Payroll

As part of my role as the Office manager I ensure the smooth running of an office on a day-to-day basis remotely and in office .
I managed 2 administrative staff. 
My responsibilities typically include:
Organising meetings and managing databases
Booking transport and accommodation
Organising company events or conferences
Ordering stationery and furniture
Dealing with correspondence, complaints and queries
Preparing letters, presentations and reports
Supervising and monitoring the work of administrative staff
Managing office budgets
Liaising with staff, suppliers and clients
Implementing and maintaining procedures/office administrative systems
Delegating tasks to junior employees
Organising induction programmes for new employees
Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
Attending meetings with senior management
Site meetings with clients

Education

I am currently in the process of completing my Bachelor of Commerce in Financial Management. I am in my second year.
