Emma Vink

Experienced sociologist and academic editor with over a decade of expertise in higher education, research, and academic support. Has lectured extensively at Stellenbosch University, designing and delivering postgraduate and international modules in sustainable agriculture and South African environmental studies. Academic work is complemented by hands-on qualitative research consulting, including contributions to agricultural policy development through fieldwork and analysis. Additionally, has held senior tutoring roles managing large cohorts and mentoring junior staff, and currently provides professional academic editing services for MBA students, ensuring clarity and adherence to scholarly standards.

I hold a Master’s degree in Sociology from Stellenbosch University, with a research focus on environmentally-friendly production practices within South Africa’s wine industry. My academic background is rooted in a deep engagement with sustainable agriculture, supported by an Honours degree in Sociology and a BA in Humanities, also from Stellenbosch University. Through this progression, I developed strong research (with a focus on qualitative research), analytical, and writing skills that underpin my teaching, academic editing, and consultancy work.
