I was a team leader in the Altron SI Operations - ITSS - ITMS Asset Management Practice in South Africa. Since joining Altron, I have worked with clients, technicians, third-party contractors, and vendors.
Current Responsibilities:
● Asset Team Leader, managing assets such as laptops, desktops, headsets, fixed assets, etc. on behalf of clients and internal.
● Manages client assets according to investment preferences and goals.
● Meets with clients to assess asset status, needs, risks, goals, and progress.
● Supervises employees who assist in asset reporting and monitoring of assets.
● Internal assets.
● Ensuring and confirming correct information on the incident provided. Accurate information is captured on CMDB (variance and validation reporting). 95% CMDB accuracy.
● Compiling monthly reports. Monthly audits per site. Obtain audit sign-off. Alignment to client agreed contract.
● Manage the ITAM procedures documents, making sure that they are kept up to date with changes to procedure and process improvements. At least 1 approved improvement per quarter.
● Ensure all direct reports allocated and agreed development activities are successfully completed within the required timeframe and ensure continuous development of skills and knowledge of customer systems and services. Mentor direct reports in order to give them the knowledge and skills they require to fulfill their role to the best of their ability.
