Position: Surveyor 

Work area:  Open Cast Mining

• Supervise the standard of work being performed and derive the necessary field calculations from work completed
• picking up stock pills using Trimble sx10 scanner and process the date in to Trimble business center
• carry out pit updates and accurate volumes calculation using Surpac v6.8
• Preparation of statutory Mine Plans and End of Month reports
• Provide support to Technical Service and production teams, pit design set up, topographic survey, data reduction and 
• Conduct WENCO calibration on excavator 
• Coordinate the drill blast operation in pegging of mine blocks and insure correct setout is done
• Pickup up of blast blocks using the Ebee done and Mavic DJI drone for ore reconciliation and Blast movement data, to help the mine planners and geologist to create mine block plan.
• Provide drone plans for monthly pits update and waste dumps for mine usage 

• Determine methods and procedures for establishing or re-establishing survey control Keep accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe work performed
• Ensure work activities are performed in accordance with established Company Standards, Policies, Procedures and Work Instructions
• Perform and record as-built surveys of existing and newly constructed work
