Edward Gallagher

Between 2019 and April 2020 I worked as an intern working on cars and cleaning the workshop at Malcolm’s Auto Engineering. I then relocated to Johannesburg where I studied at IIE Varsity College. I’m currently working at Takealot.Com, Alberton where I’m appointed as a food desk clerk and monitoring the food section of the business as well as handling of the COD made by drivers throughout the day. I'm trainee shift manager as well. I have gone for TPP training and head of the food desk. 

Monitoring food dashboard as well as shifting drivers in. Inspection of bikes and vehicles being shifted.                    

Authorisation of bikes for services. Counting and entering of COD onto the system per deliveries made                                                                                                                    throughout the day. Entering complaints from customers due to driver mistake, calling and speaking to drivers about mistakes made. Entering job cards to allow for drivers bikes to be serviced. Distribution of parcels from hub and receiving of parcels from the millkrun. Admin of food desk as well as head of food desk. Trainee shift manager by monitoring staff and ensure rules and SOP is followed throughout the day. Receiving complaints and attending to customer queries as well as driver queries. Explanation and ensuring standard operations are carried out through the day. Reporting to management and monitoring of stats regarding food desk. 

I studied Bachelor of Commerce at IIE VARSITY COLLEGE in Sandton.
