I am a multi-skilled and experienced operator in the Aluminium industry for 22 years.

I have worked for Hillside Aluminium (BHP Billiton) in Richards Bay for 15 years as a production operator in reduction department, I then continued as an Assistant Supervisor in Reduction and a Start-up Department in the Middle East, Qatalum in Qatar Doha for 7 years.

I am an enthusiastic individual with a natural hunger to learn and lead. I have been very much fortunate to have worked with different nationalities locally and abroad and that gave me an opportunity to learn and understand different kinds of cultures and languages. I am a very honest and well organized diligent with an outstanding leadership qualities, result orientated and always strive to excel in everything the I do and flexible in any work environment.

As i have gained experience and a reputation not only for my impressive work rate and integrity, but also for my good challenging skills in my previous companies, my career objective is to secure in a well established organisation that would offer me a chance to explore my potential and enhance my skills as it continues fostering my growth and development.

Attend HSEQ Meetings, liaise with other departments to optimize production Safety inspections, incident investigations and audits. Participating in job Observations SOP/SWI, Drafting and updating. Ensuring compliance of Procedures, Issuing of Work Permits, Booking of time and attendance on oracle. Recording and Reporting of near misses; 5s; workplace inspection and incident reporting
