Quality Assurance Lead [Hybrid Employee] – Mobile Application Development

  • Establishing a new QA department withing the Ayoba Tech branch, a first for the company.
  • Build and lead a QA team to facilitate both manual and automation testing for all projects.
  • Establishes and implements policies and procedures for Quality Assurance in all internal projects.
  • Develops test matrixes, work breakdown structures and risk control plans for projects.
  • Assist Automation and Specialisation QA teams in all aspects as a lead.
  • People management, overseeing teams’ individual personal development and quarterly goals.
  • Planning of all projects, including test planning, assigning work, and signing off projects.
  • Assists Developers in identifying issues and performing related investigations.
  • Compiles comprehensive test plans and test reports for all projects.
  • Oversees testing on all aspects of projects, from inception to post release support.
  • Builds and implements novel test approaches, in-line with new technologies and methodologies.
  • Performs all QA related strategic planning and KPI reporting for the Company.
  • Compiles weekly KPI reports for stakeholders and weekly alignment sessions for key focus areas.
  • Align with external vendors on QA goals, running projects in parallel and reaching milestones together.
  • Communicates with Stakeholders, Project Owners, and Clients across diverse time-zones / locations.
  • Interview and hire potential new candidates, as well as onboarding and training them towards QA integration.
  • Leading a team of 20 QA members across multiple frontend and backend projects with a broad spectrum of testing approaches, scope and technical difficulty.
