Professional Nurse Community Service| Bophelong community health centre | 1 March 2018 – 28 February 2019

• My key responsibilities at Bophelong Community Healthcare Centre included the following:
• Providing primary healthcare to children of age 0 to 5. In this department I mainly focused on the Expanded Program on Immunization and Integrated Management of Childhood Illness.
• Providing primary healthcare to adults. In this department I mainly focused on providing healthcare to adults with minor ailments and chronic conditions.
• Casualties. In this department I was exposed to handling emergency situations under great pressure and difficult circumstances.

Proffessional Nurse |MEDICLINIC| 1 April 2019 – 31 DECEMBER 2020

• During this period, I worked in the medical, neurosurgical, cardiothoracic and COVID-19 ward. My key responsibilities at Mediclinic Bloemfontein included the following:
• taking patient history
• administering medication
• observing patients
• executing doctor’s orders 
• caring for patients in a hospital setting.

Proffessional Nurse |Bioart fertility centre| 1 January 2021

• Currently I am working at Bioart Fertility Centre as a professional nurse where my key responsibilities are the following: 
• to assist doctors within room procedures (hysteroscopies, DD&C and other genealogical procedures)
• following through doctors’ instructions
• drawing of blood
• initiating and explaining of IVF protocols 
• dispensing of IVF treatment 
• administering conscious sedation
• preparing patients for procedures 
• recovering of patients after procedures
• health education 

• Enrolled at The University of the Free State in 2014
• Studied Bachelor of Social Sciences in Nursing
• Received recognition for being fourth in her class with an average mark of 77% in 2015
• Sang Kleinser for the Sonnedou residence in 2015, UFS.
• Received recognition for being third in her class with an average mark of 74%
• Successfully completed the course Helping Babies Breathe in 2017
• Successfully completed the 22 hours, UNICEF, WHO Mother Baby Friendly Initiative Lactation Management Course in 2017
• Attended the Management of Sick and Small Newborns in 2017
• Achieved Bachelor of Social Sciences in Nursing degree in 2017. Passed a total of 37 modules. Achieved distinctions in 21 of these modules.
