Education
I am a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture graduate from the University of Mpumalanga. My qualification helped broaden my knowledge and skills in Entomology, Animal Production, Soil Science, Postharvest technology, Seed technology, Vegetable, and Fruit production. I currently have three years of research and practice-related experience in pest management and vegetable production. I completed a study for my honours degree titled Acacia biochar promotes tolerance of tomato plants to Root-Knot nematodes which was recently presented at the 23rd Symposium of the Nematological Society of Southern Africa (Waterval Country Lodge Tulbagh) in September 2021. I was also fortunate enough to receive funding from the National Research Foundation which trusted me to register for my Masters in Crop Science at Northwest University. My passion for research and nematodes is further exacerbated by my current research thesis titled the Screening of indigenous African vegetables against nematode.
