I am passionate about plant wide Continuous Improvement initiatives/ projects. A firm believer in “Change” and an advocate for People Development, Safety, Quality and operational excellence that align with the companys' mission, vision and operating principles. I take my responsibilities and accountablilities beyond just the job description in the most ethical way.

High in my priority list is maintenance optimization, autonomous operation and streamlining operations through guidance and training of personnel in using improvement tools incoperate Lean and TPM methodologies. 

As “Factory Performance and Reliability Coordinator” at Colgate Palmolive my task was plant-wide Continuos Improvement.

 I rolled out and manage 8 pillars of operational excellence in order to support/service departments of HR, Production Planning, Engineering, EOHS, Quality and Manufacturing. 

• HR- Skills development, DOL, shop-floor training, individual performance and development, BEE, O/T, Mentorship
• Quality/Safety/Production- Lean manufacturing through TPM, TQM, Kaizen projects, Audit preparation, Audits, Waste to Landfill, Zero Lost Work Cae Rate, R&D, Tools for SMED, RCA's, FMEA, 6's, SOP's, SWI's, OPL's, NCR
• Engineering- Documentation, PM, PMO's, SMT assessment, Change Management, Re-engineering
• PP- New and improved availability, Asset Utilization Rates, OEE's, 100% Network planning compliance

My job was challenging yet satisfying especially when I had collaborative buy in from Top management to venture in new Projects.

I hold a National Diploma in Operations Management complimented with certifications in Production Management, Lean Six Sigma, Negotiation and Disciplinary.
