Deviyani Naidoo

I am an operations manager currently employed at a major financial institution in South Africa. I have been employed at the institution from March 2015, and having exposure, received a new post in the same department. I was employed a team leader position (2 grades higher). In September 2017, I once again received the position as operations manager in 2019, in the same department. 

I am employed as an operations manager for the Financial Crime Unit, in the Money Laundering Transactional Monitoring department. I have received my degree in Criminology from Unisa (university of South Africa) through part-time studies starting in 2017. I have also received a certificate in Money Laundering Investigations from University of Pretoria in 2017. 

I consider myself to be a team player, one that is one that is resilient, showing enthusiasm in my work and motivate others to achieve the desired results. I strive to maintain a consistent pace and motivation. I identify lessons learned from previous challenges and puts procedures in place to avoid common problems. I initiate smarter ways of working by making an impact on the deliverable at hand as well as on the team involved and the Company in a broader spectrum. I consider myself as a mild natured, but a people’s person, open to diversity and also one that encourages social networking.
