I am a Cinematographer and Director based in Johannesburg. I was first introduced to the film world during 2016, in California,USA, when I was called to help work as an assist for the BET (Black Entertainment Television)

Awards and Eddie Murphy’s stand up show, under the mentorship
of Production Designer Bruce Ryan. Whilst in California I also got to work under editor Paul Taglianetti, who helped edit the movie "The Matrix" and learnt screenwriting from Screenwriter Tyger William, who
wrote the movie "The Perfect Guy".

Filmmaking has always been my passion and since then, I have worked on multiple films. I love filmmaking because it allows me to create a place where people can go to escape their everyday lives for a moment.

Experience

I started doing film in 2016 in California. I worked on a lot of short films and worked as a production design assistant for a couple of award shows. I then worked on a South African Netflix production in the camera department and worked on the set of a soapie as an assistant.

I graduated from SAE Institute with a bachelors in Film. I also got Summa Cum Laude and the Highest Academic Awards for my year.
