I am fortunate to have worked in various countries from United Kingdom and South Africa to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. In the past 6 years I have worked on contracts in Africa under challenging conditions which I absolutely thrived on. I get along with people across the spectrum and have a soft spot for Africa. My experiences have taught me to adapt to any environment, think out of the box, motivate and lead my team, and make things happen. All projects are a team effort. I do my best to provide for my family.

• Construction experience within bulk earthworks, road construction, pipelines, concrete work including high rise buildings, post tensioning slabs, general building work including finishes in hospitals, hotels, retail, banking, industrial, motor trade and food sector

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

• The contracts that I have worked on since 2016 have all achieved tender profit margins above expectation.
• Site won 1st place in the National Master Builders Health and Safety competition for contract values above R500mil. 
• Construction of 130 bed hotel in Zambia with South African Architects specifying material from South Africa, however completed project 6 weeks ahead of schedule.
• Recognized for quality output on Garden Court Hotel, resulting in another contract with same client.
• Accelerated the construction of an office block and dairy processing plant from 8 months down to 6 months 
• Constructed a 500m² vault for a reserve bank within a 5mm tolerance.
• Constructed the first radiation rooms out of reinforced concrete in London as part of University College London Hospital where the walls were 1.5m wide and roof slab 2.5m thick.
• Constructed post tensioning slabs with a turnaround time of 8-10 working days.

• NTT Nissan Dealership, Francistown, Botswana: New build consisting of showroom, offices, workshop, wash bay and carparks
• Coca Cola Water Treatment Plant, Gaborone, Botswana: New build
• Maun Airport, Maun, Botswana: New build and refurbishment of existing terminal building. 
• Ridgeway Hotel refurbishment, Lusaka, Zambia:  155 room renovation, 4 blocks in sequence whilst ensuring hotel remained operational during the renovations
• National Milling Corporation Office Block, Lusaka, Zambia: Built multi-level office block, canteen, change room, mill offices, laboratory, 2 x weigh bridge offices, and 2 x truck waiting, 2 x gate houses, pump station and electrical room
• Garden Court Hotel, Kitwe, Zambia: New build 130 bed and conference facilities with carpark 
• Cecilia Makiwane Hospital, East London, South Africa:  New build 600 bed – 50 000m² responsible for concrete structure and all the external works including the substation, entrance bridge, gate house and completion of 5 wards
• Sunningdale Dairy, East London, South Africa: Industrial contract that was accelerated from 8 to 6 months.
• SA Reserve Bank, East London, South Africa: Two phases consisting of a new build and refurbishment of existing building. External facades consisted of sandstone cladding. Internal security was of the highest specifications for a national security key point. 
• Beacon Bay Crossing Shopping Centre, East London, South Africa: Consisted of 2 x 3 storey office blocks, 12 shops and parking
