Duties:

• Maintain good relations and collaborate with department risk managers to determine security needs. 
• Ensure the posting of Security Officers is done timeously. 
• Ensure that all Security Officers meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the client.
• Constantly evaluate the service levels provided and make recommendations to the clients        regarding the improvement of services. 
• Present Security improvement plans to executives. 
• General management and supervision of security staff. 
• Ensure that all HR related queries are dealt with and directed to the relevant department. 
• Conduct regular on-site security patrols. 
• Investigate incidents and submit relevant weekly/monthly incident reports to management. 
• Attend meetings with Management (Risk Manager and Chief Security Officer) and with the Client (Lepelle Northern Water) 
• Prepare and present reports of incidents and ways to limit reoccurrence. 
• Liaise with Public Law Enforcement agencies and fire department (where applicable). 
• Oversee the planning and coordination of security operations during high-risk events.

Before transitioning into Security Management, I worked at various companies leading small teams and this is where I developed my management skills and turned into a well- rounded professional from a variety of experiences and work environments. 

I am now an accomplished Security Area Manager dedicated to maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets. I have satisfactory expertise in risk management, surveillance, emergency response, and compliance with local and national security regulations.

At Molebogeng Security Services, I oversee a team of security professionals stationed at various sites across the Limpopo Province, ensuring that the area’s operations are fully protected from security breaches, vandalism, theft, and any other potential threats. I am responsible for coordinating security efforts, conducting audits, providing training for staff, and working closely with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

I am also deeply involved in implementing and monitoring security technology, including surveillance systems, access control measures. My approach combines proactive planning with a hands-on, adaptable mindset, allowing me to respond swiftly to any security issues as they arise.

I am currently enrolled at the University of South Africa (UNISA) studying towards a Diploma in Security Management [Modules currently registered for this semester are Security Principles and Practices 1 (SEP1501); Management Accounting (MAC1501) and Management 1A (MNG1502)]. I am also undergoing Accreditation Training to provide security service at a National Key Point (i.e. Lepelle Northern Water National Key Point Sites around Lebowakgomo). I am committed to continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest security trends and technologies.

Outside of work, I am an advocate for community safety and development.
