Graduate Civil Engineer

I have good leadership qualities, which I came to see well when I was doing my final year design project (developing an affordable village and providing the village with all the municipal services and environmental consideration) given to us by Infraconsult. I was a group leader/project manager. We managed to complete all our tasks on time, and I inspired a good quality of work from my colleagues. I had an opportunity to present our design at the UJ prestige evening function, and this also allowed me to advance my presentation skills. 

My thesis in structural engineering was to investigate the axial capacity of newly innovated columns named concrete-filled double-skin tubular (CFDST). These columns provide an advantage, such as reducing material cost, less labour, and fast construction. 

Early in 2021, I was Involved in the Fixed Asset Verification Project owned by the City of Tshwane Metropolitan Municipality. where I collect the data for assets and conduct conditional assessments for the fixed assets such as water purification plants, waste treatment plants, flood structures, and hydraulic structures.

July 2021 till present, I have been working on road construction and stormwater upgrade project at Mac P construction. My duties were to assist the Senior site agent. This involved preparing technical Reports, submissions on construction projects & presentations. Supervise the construction of road, stormwater, concrete works, and all construction-related matters onsite. Check certificate for the contractor and of consultants. Oversee all the project need.
