About Curtis Mostert:
My passion for cars began at a young age when I started helping my father in the garage. Since then, I have spent countless hours studying automotive systems and repair techniques, as well as working on various types of vehicles.
Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the inner workings of various vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. I am adept at diagnosing and repairing a wide range of issues, from engine trouble to electrical malfunctions. I also have experience working with a variety of different tools and equipment, and I am comfortable using both traditional and cutting-edge technology to get the job done. What sets me apart as a mechanic is my commitment to quality and attention to detail. I understand that even the smallest mistake can have serious consequences when it comes to vehicle safety, and I take great care to ensure that every repair and maintenance task is carried out with precision and accuracy.
In addition to my technical skills, I pride myself on my excellent communication skills. I understand that effective communication is essential in any workplace, but particularly in the automotive industry, where miscommunications can lead to costly mistakes. I am a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others and learning from my colleagues, and I believe that a strong sense of camaraderie is essential to achieving success in any workplace.
Experience
A dependable and technically skilled auto mechanic with a Merseta Red Seal Trade Qualification in Automotive Motor Mechanics. I offer well-rounded diagnostic and repair expertise and a solid reputation for quality, honesty, and integrity. I am extremely efficient, hardworking, professional and pride myself on my interpersonal skills which help me form respectable relationships with colleagues and clients.
As an auto mechanic apprentice at Audi and Volkswagen for over 4 years, I gained expertise in handling maintenance and repairs on light motor vehicles spanning virtually all makes and models. I performed diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on engines, brakes, steering/suspension systems, powertrains, fuel injectors, transmissions, exhaust systems and electrical systems - always delivering prompt, thorough and high-quality service on every job.
Currently working at Dave Scates Construction, I have extended my skills handling the operations of company vehicles, equipment, and machinery, inspecting for any malfunctions, and immediately repairing defective components to prevent delays in productivity.
Education
I hold a Red Seal Trade qualification in Automotive Motor Mechanics and have completed a 4-year apprenticeship at Audi Centre Pinetown.
