Charne Smuts

I am an ambitious and driven young woman with a passion for excellence and a curious mind. I hold a postgraduate degree in internal auditing.  I have a passion for technology, data analytics and cyber security and I am fascinated by the different ways I can incorporate technology into my everyday life. I always strive to be the hardest worker in the room. I am always looking for ways to self-improve, such as learning new languages, continuous professional development, especially related to cyber security, data analytics and Information technology, or improving my soft skills such as my leadership abilities, conflict resolution, creativity, and time management.

I have worked as a IT audit and Internal audit trainee at PricewaterhouseCoopers for two years and nine months and have gained valuable insight in various industries, processes and systems in both the private and public sector.   I also have experience as a senior compliance auditor in the online gambling industry where I performed multiple regulatory audits in various markets.

In my downtime, I love spending time in nature, participating different sports, such as CrossFit and running, or spending time with friends and family over a cup of coffee
