I am a hard working individual and I am results driven. I enjoy working with numbers and I enjoy solving complex issues. As a learner, I find it best to find those as passionate as oneself to learn more from and grow as an individual. I aspire to become a Chartered Accountant one day. However, I am eager to gain more hands on experience in the real world. I realise the scarcity of jobs in our society and how much other individuals would be better suited for the job, but I know that if given an opportunity I would perform to the very best of my abilities, and should I be uncertain about something, I would not be as prideful as to not ask for help. As I have mentioned, I am a hard worker, a quick learner and I do learn from everyone around me (colleagues).

I do not have any professional experience, however I have worked in the retail industry as a merchandiser. I also have general experience working in the production area of Sasko Bakery.

BCom Accounting Degree focuses on variety of fields, these includes Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Auditing. Financial Accounting mainly involves standard accounting procedures such as Income Statement, Balance Sheets, Statements of changes in equity, Bank Reconciliations amongst others. Management Accounting involves focusing on the future, ways to better manage the organizations finances to achieve goals. These includes amongst others Cash Flows and Budgeting. Taxation deals with taxes, both for Natural Persons and Businesses. Auditing deals with any discrepancies which might affect the organisation negatively, and whether the organisation is socially responsible.
