About Catherina Joubert:

I offer 20+ years as a personal assistant to medical professionals, somatologists, teachers and trainers; developing, managing and promoting various service and training solutions, from inception to maturity, within the medical care and spa/salon environments.

Im a compassionate, peoples person. My interpersonal skills enable me to communicate effectively at all levels in multi-cultural and diverse environments. I thrive on new challenges, meeting and interacting with people.

I have extensive administrative and beauty therapy experience but I nevertheless remain a fast learner who constantly update and upgrade my knowledge base. I am technically proficient including most social media platforms; monitoring and managing these as effective marketing channels. I enjoy accessing and improving systems and services to excellence. 
I am a hard worker and execute my work practicing efficient time management and strong professional ethics. 
I have received 5-star ratings from clients.

After working and living in the United Kingdom for 20 years, I decided to return to South Africa. Now that I have settled in Cape Town, I am ready to offer my services to a new employer.

Experience

I am experienced in admin, secretarial, PA, reception and clerical positions. Good Computer skills and a fast typist when it comes to copy typing, audio typing and other typing skills.
Due to these previous positions, I am  able to function competently in an office environment, both in terms of familiarity with general office duties on an administrative, secretarial, PA, reception or clerical level, and also in terms of competently exercising specific responsibilities. 
I have a wide experience in interacting with the public in terms of general over-the-counter interaction, including one on one interactions and performing more narrowly-defined responsibilities. I have over a number of years developed and honed listening and verbal skills through interacting with a vast number and wide range of individuals. 
In terms of desirable personality traits, I am a hard worker, loyal and conscientious person who executes responsibilities with integrity, I am also a quick study and am able to grasp and get to grips with new challenges. 

 

Education

I passed Matric in 1994. From there I went on to study Health and Wellness Massage and concluded my course in 1998. I am skilled and educated in PA, Secretarial, Admin, Reception and Clerical roles. I have a City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 UK (level 5 equivalent) in Teaching. I ran my own massage business for 15+years whilst Teaching for a Health & Wellness School. I also offered my PA& secretarial skills to the Director and 5 Tutors of the company. During my Teaching and Secretarial duties I studied and completed courses in regards to Wellness and Massage. I have 30+ Diplomas in this field. I keep up to date with my Continued Personal Development and just finished a course in Office, Excell & PowerPoint.
