About Carmen Requilet:
I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Criminology, building upon my Bachelor of Arts in Law. My academic journey has fueled a strong passion for teaching, particularly in lecturing roles where I can impart knowledge and inspire students. I am dedicated to contributing to the field of criminology through research and academic discourse. Currently, I am working as a recruitment supervisor for a large-scale temporary employment services company.
Experience
I bring a diverse background in recruitment, academic tutoring, and organizational support. Currently serving as a Recruitment Supervisor at MASA Outsourcing, I oversee the recruitment process for temporary positions across various industries, ensuring compliance with employment laws and optimizing recruitment strategies. Concurrently, as an Academic Tutor in Criminology Studies, I facilitate learning through tailored tutoring sessions, delivering clear explanations of complex theories and providing academic support to undergraduate students. Previously, I supported teaching efforts at the University of Pretoria as a Lecturer’s Assistant, assisting with examination preparation and classroom presentations. Additionally, my role as a Student Representative at the university involved managing student concerns and enhancing university-community relations. These experiences have honed my skills in recruitment management, academic instruction, and student advocacy, preparing me to contribute effectively in a lecturing role within the field of criminology.
