About Carika Smith:
With more than 13 years combined experience in Organisational Development, I have established myself as a people development specialist. I started my career in the field of consulting and assessment, moved on to engagement and wellbeing and currently focused on enabling leadership and people development by creating bespoke blended learning programmes. Partnering with global teams and colleagues, supporting them to conceptualise their visions into game changing initiatives and content to support regional and global talent strategies are what I am proud of executing well.

•Support the design, delivery and embedding of global management development programmes in a variety of learning and blended learning approaches.
•Design, socialize and implement leadership fasttrack experiential learning programme for identified talent; aligned to Diversity and Inclusion objectives.
•Collaborate with talent management, talent acquisition and engagement teams to ensure integration and value add of L&D initiatives.

•Define and implement methodology and approach for accreditation of leaders aligned to the 70/20/10 learning approach.
•Design, deliver and embed Team Leader and Operations Manager Development Programmes including an internal accreditation methodology aligned to the 70/20/10 learning approach.
•Collaborate with and manage external service providers to deliver development initiatives in line with set standards and timelines.
•Prepare and facilitate presentation packs for needs analysis, launch, update and reporting calls with People Partners and Operations Directors.

•Responsible for the delivery of the people submission linked to RFPS/ RFIs and new business wins.
•Deliver people projects that drive continuous improvement in people process, systems and approaches.
•Projects include Implementing various wellness projects, managing EAP provider, lead on the implementation and management of the Engagement Ambassadors and projects, lead liaison on building a people bid library for new business, work with HR Director to implement CSI strategy and initiatives, implement and manage company reward and recognition programme.
