🌿🌸I have built a noticeably productive and promisingly charitable platform as a humanitarian and a photographer in the hope to build my initiative THE BIGGER PICTURE: A Humanitarian Effort🌿🌸

🌿🌸My initiative THE BIGGER PICTURE: A Humanitarian Effort has formed a charitable alignment with The Big Issue South Africa, The Haven Night Shelter & S~Cape🌿🌸with the help of Eugene Mpatheni from GOOD HOPE FM🌿🌸essentially ensuring that this initiative gains impetus across a collective of media influencers🌿🌸

🌿🌸My inspiration for THE BIGGER PICTURE: A Humanitarian Effort was largely based upon having raised over one million rand as 1 of 12 Executives for Reach Out & Give supporting the foundations of Kayamandi🌿🌸A township

community in the heart of Stellenbosch🌿🌸My portfolio considered to be a primarily responsible contribution to the amount🌿🌸I am a graduate of Stellenbosch University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Humanities majoring in psychology, sociology and art history🌿🌸graciously accepting a partial bursary🌿🌸

🌿🌸I consider myself to be an aspiring Goodwill Ambassador for the UNITED NATIONS WOMEN SOUTH AFRICA🌿🌸Investing tirelessly in achieving the GLOBAL GOALS🌿🌸encouraging these goals to be printed on food packaging accross the world🌿🌸Over and above a further humanitarian investment in🌿🌸HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SOUTH AFRICA, UNICEF SOUTH AFRICA & PROJECT GRL🌿🌸As well as encouraging the LIVE BELOW THE LINE CHALLENGE way of life to South Africa🌿🌸

🌿🌸Romy from Romy Paull Yoga offered monthly yoga classes to the female vendor's 

🌿🌸We created yoga classes for the vendor's children offered by the lovely Aimee of Gaia Yoga

🌿🌸A yoga day was prepared for Woman's Day 

🌿🌸Reydiant offered a mother and baby pampering hamper to a female vendor with a newborn baby 

🌿🌸Chlobella Boutique offered a complimentary gift to a female vendor with a baby 

🌿🌸The Stillness Manor & Spa in the Constantia Valley offered a complimentary spa day to a female vendor that suffered from cancer 

🌿🌸Pure Skin Organics offered a complimentary spa treatment to a female vendor showing promise

🌿🌸My artwork and humanitarian efforts are being featured in various magazines and newspapers within South Africa🌿🌸These magazines include🌿🌸The Big Issue magazine🌿🌸Splash magazine🌿🌸Imagine magazine🌿🌸as well as other community newspapers such as the Constantia Chronicle🌿🌸including a front page skylight feature in The Southern Suburbs Tatler distributed within the heart of Claremont and Newlands🌿🌸As well as being nominated by THE BIG ISSUE as CAPE TALK LeadSA Hero of the Month🌿🌸

🌿🌸A theme for the features are to create awareness for these vendors and children that are often forgotten and unnoticed and I sincerely feel that this needs to change🌿🌸These vendors need to feel cared for, empowered and loved🌿🌸

🌿🌸Adding more intrigue to my artwork and my humanitarian efforts is that they are recognised by Australian photographer Jasin Boland🌿🌸Jasin Boland is one of Hollywood's most sought after photographer's🌿🌸He has worked intimately with Charlize Theron and many other celebrities🌿🌸

🌿🌸Our focus for the remainder of the year however is the gathering of CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP for THE BIG ISSUE so that we can continue to fulfill our promise to these vendors and children🌿🌸We shall approach this by offering each business a marketing opportunity and feature their business logo in THE BIG ISSUE magazine🌿🌸

🌿🌸A CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP page has been created for this reason🌿🌸as a way to signify appreciation to each invested business for their generosity🌿🌸We have been fortunate to gather donations thus far and I would like to far surpass the insightfulness and imaginable vision that I have for this in terms of creative resourcefulness🌿🌸

🌿🌸A dream of mine that has been considered by🌿🌸HABITAT FOR HUMANITY SOUTH AFRICA🌿🌸is to build a homeless shelter for these vendors🌿🌸to consider as a safe haven at the end of each day🌿🌸My initial vision would be to find a premises that is nearest to THE BIG ISSUE and that is accessible to these vendors🌿🌸At first my focus would be nourishing these vendors in terms of a meal offering as well as cleanliness🌿🌸in the hope that we can find sponsorship to maintain the cost of this responsibility each and every day🌿🌸

🌿🌸A reminder that by providing nourishment for these vendors we are lessening the burden from a community that feel responsible for them🌿🌸Because we are considering cost of living and the necessary average monetary intake per vendor per day in order for them to survive🌿🌸This in itself is reassuring because they know that someone special is invested in caring for them🌿🌸

🌿🌸Another dream of mine is to work beside Billie Zangewa as I would love to bring my photography to life on silk tapestry🌿🌸representing the butterfly🌿🌸as a metaphor for the much needed metamorphosis and change that South Africa is in need of🌿🌸and in the end presenting this to the United Nations General Assembly as well as the Goodman Gallery🌿🌸Sadly South Africa is seen as a nation in distress and despair accross the world🌿🌸If we could change this narrative of our beautiful country I would be the happiest girl in the world🌿🌸

🌿🌸I have gathered and nurtured over 55 SPONSORSHIP COMPLEMENTARIES for the vendors, the children and myself🌿🌸I can only begin to imagine what could be done given more consciousness, opportunity and support during the course of a lifetime🌿🌸

🌿🌸My Godmother Theresa is newly retired as a Captain of the South African Police🌿🌸She is pleased to announce that her sister Alta van Heerden has been announced as Principal of the International Confederations of Principal's (ICP) within South Africa🌿🌸

🌿🌸My Grandfather Basil Victor Brice, a former South African Springbok🌿🌸was given the Lifetime Achievement award and I would like to make him proud🌿🌸
