I am a young, enthusiastic, reliable, and mature individual who loves helping and serving others. I decided to pursue a degree in foundation phase teaching because of the deep-rooted calling and passion I have for children and education. My love for teaching becomes personal when put into practice. I want to be that motivator, that encourager, and the light that guides students to find themselves. I want to be able to touch lives forever. To pass on that same gift that was given to me, so that future generations will never be in a place where they do not have a motivator that guides and encourages them. Among my strengths are strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. With my passion, experience and unique skillset, I believe I can make a difference your children’s lives and help them to thrive.

DURBANVILLE BAPTIST CHURCH JANUARY 2021 – DECEMBER 2021 Position Held – Ministry Intern
Key Duties
● Organizing and facilitating special ministry events such as worship services, kids’ ministry events and youth ministry events.
● Attend regular team meetings to plan / work on events.
● Assist in determining goals and objectives for an event.
● Delegate tasks and organize my team.
● Ensure that everyone fulfilled their responsibilities with
frequent reminders and assisting the team wherever they
needed help.
● Oversee the event on the day, ensuring everything is in place
for the event to be successful.
● Advertise the kids’ and the teenagers’ ministry and events on
various social media platforms on a weekly basis.
● Manage the Instagram account for the teenagers’ ministry.
● Manage and post in the WhatsApp group.
● Designing and updating posters and logos mostly for kids’
ministry on Canva as per theme.
● Managing and creating the churches weekly newsletter-
through “Mail Chimp”.
● Supporting church members, especially children and
teenagers, going through a difficult time by offering spiritual counselling and encouraging those who needed upliftment and guidance during difficult circumstances.
