Experience
The process involves early detection and investigation of stock variances for packed products and raw materials i.e. (bulk products, base oils, additives and empty packaging) using theoretical volumes vs physical volumes.
Report any non conforming stock i.e.(Leaking stock, rusted drums and expired stock) to the Laboratory, and Supply Chain Planner
Brainstorm any possible rework plans for the non-conforming stock, discuss the root causes and mitigation plans for recurrences.
Conduct debrief meeting with the counting teams, to discuss safety precautions during stock count. Supervise the counters during stock count.
Process the counts in SAP using MI04 and generate variance report using MI20 in SAP. The report is then sent to supervisors for investigation.
Hold post-count meeting to plan and discuss variances to mitigation processing counts in SAP
Analyse stock reports from depots, checking stock that is close to expiry.
Update aging report for the potential write-off.
Analyse depot forecast, to ensure that stock is rotated where necessary.
Discuss production gains with Blending Team, Filling Supervisor and Ops Admin Clerk.
Escalate the production loss/gain to the Supply Chain Manager (SCM) reporting SAP shortage.
Once the approval is received from the SCM, the write in/off will be processed in SAP using MIGO
transaction.
Understanding the importance of sampling the product to ensure quality is delivered.
Understanding that Filling lines have daily target for litres to be filled, and the process to be followed for decanting leaking products.
Understanding that the dispatch team needs to make preparations of stock to be dispatched and ensure that FIFO is followed during the Loading process.
