Bongiwe Nsibande

I hold a BSc Honours in Biological Sciences, and I'm currently pursuing a Masters in Genetics with a focus on Bioinformatics. My academic journey has equipped me with expertise in molecular biology techniques, genetic analysis, and bioinformatics tools. As a Teaching Assistant, I've contributed to the education of others, honing my communication and presentation skills. Additionally, my experience as a Lab Technician has strengthened my practical abilities in various laboratory techniques, ensuring a solid foundation for both academia and research. I am passionate about bridging theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience to contribute meaningfully to the field of genetics.

In my biological field experiences, I've served as a lab assistant, where I conducted various experiments, handled equipment, and ensured lab safety. As a teaching assistant, I facilitated student learning, conducted tutorials, and assisted in grading. Additionally, my role as a research assistant involved contributing to ongoing research projects. These diverse roles have enriched my understanding of both practical laboratory work and academic instruction in the biological sciences.
