As Account Director at Paddington Station PR and the former Group Editor of TFG’s Club, ClubX and Kids Superclub magazines, I spoke to over three million readers, via print and digital platforms, on a regular basis. My passion for media started in early childhood. I grew up in a home surrounded by books and magazines, and becoming a writer was a natural progression after I completed my studies. My love for fine art and design was nurtured during my tenure at David Krut Fine Art and Publishing, where selling and shipping art harnessed my sales experience and knowledge of contemporary African artists. Lifestyle magazines beckoned and a number of internships and editorial roles at Media24, Times New Media, Touchline Media and Highbury Safika followed. An entrepreneur at heart, I launched my own magazine, Ideology, in 2012; dealing with SMMEs and their impact on the economy.

I completed a feature writing course with UCT's GetSmarter department.
