Bongeka Nyamazana

My name is Bongeka Nyamazana, I am a University of the Free State Cum Laude graduate, I obtained one of my qualifications under the humanities department.  I studied Bachelor of Social Sciences majoring in Psychology and Business management, however teaching was always my passion, in fact the reason why I even enrolled for my first qualification was because of space availability in the BEd department. I then  enrolled for the PGCE qualification.

 I currently teach isiZulu Second Additional Language to the grade 1 to 6 at Eco Kids Campus. I also teach two grade 11s boys isiZulu First Additional Language. 

I started working there in the beginning of this year, under the mentorship of an incredible Zulu Teacher in my department. Who has helped me in teaching the language ever since. I have great communication and creativity skill. 

I did my teaching practice for 3 months at eTwatwa High School.

I got my first job as a teache’s assistant at Rynsoord primary school where I worked for 10 months while I was still studyin to get my PGCE.

I officially got my first teaching job at St Francis College in October 2022, where I was a Locum teacher. When my contract ended, my previous employer referred me to my current employer.

I now teach isiZulu at Eco Kids primary schoo. 

I comple my PGCE course in 2021 which I pass or graduated with Cum Laude.
