I am a courteous lady and my positive attitude towards life is infectious to those around me. I have a well developed social conscience which renders my compassion to the needs of others. I am comfortable with multitasking and working under pressure, and I operate from an organized and efficient state of being. I work well with people which makes me an excellent team player. Event coordinating is such a satisfying job for me as I love the process of starting a project and seeing it successfully come to life. I'm currently working as a freelance event coordinator for a company in Johannesburg and I'm looking for something more stable/permanent to grow in my career and personal life.

I started working in Events in 2015- 2020 as a freelancer at Black Inc Events and Communication. I started off as an administrator and worked my way to become an event coordinator assistant where I assisted with administrative tasks, taking minutes for meetings, acting as a second point of contact, business correspondence and client/guest relations. Also assisted with creative decisions and event set up. Some of the Events includes: The Vodacom Durban July, South African Music Awards, Durban Fashion Fair, Transnet Awards and The Lilizela Awards.

My career shift to corporate in 2020, when I started working as a Technical administrator at Zuza, which is a maintenance management company. My role included overseeing financial admin within the business which entails reviewing quotes from suppliers and ensuring running costs are within budget. Administrative assistance to Tender adjudications and administrative support.

I then got a job in Mining and logistics at FBO trading in 2021-2023, where i worked as an Operations officer. I was responsible for supporting senior managers in ensuring the business runs efficiently. My responsibilities include and were not limited to overseeing the executive's diaries, managing the team's schedule and coordinating meetings with stakeholders. In addition, I prepared and distributed monthly reports, handled basic financial tasks, tracking expenses and overall day to day administrative support.

I found my way back to Events, as i am currently back at Black Inc Events working as an Events coordinator where I organize events for major brands such as ABSA,947 Joburg Day and Unisa. I am responsible for project scoping, production schedules, planning, promoting and ensuring event runs smoothly and client satisfaction.
