About Boitumelo Moeketsi:
I am currently working as a Legal Assistant– Specialist Labour Claims Department at Scorpion Legal Protection. Part of my duties are making initial call to both clients third parties Employers, Department of Labour, CCMA and Bargaining Council. Drafting and sending initial letters to third parties. Sending Letters of Demand and referring matter to forums. Preparing file management, closing files, drafting and sending closure letters to clients, dispatching incoming and outgoing correspondence. Ensuring all case files assigned to me are maintained and regularly updated.Attending to general administrative tasks associated with legal services, requesting outstanding documents from clients and updating clients on the progress of their matters.
I am an open minded and friendly person, with excellent administrative skills, good communication skills, computer literate, leadership skills, negotiation skills and very passionate about my work with confidentiality and promotion of Batho Pele Principles as my first priorities.
I can work independently, with a team and online with my managers in terms of updating them about the state of the office for their attention especially while working outside the office. I am team player who is always keen on exploring and exchanging knowledge with others, very creative, adjusts and implement changes in the working environment.

Experience
I have started as an intern in Legal Department from April 2016-March 2017 then was appointed as a Legal Assistant-Call Centre from March 2017-May 2017 at Scorpion Legal Protection. I was then appointed as a Claims Handler at Labour Claims department from July 2018-February 2022.
Education
I have completed my Diploma in Legal Assistance through Vaal University of Technology in 2016 and part of my major subjects were law and evidence, computing for legal assistance, applied language skills, mercantile law, language and life skills etc. I was also a Mentor during my years at the university, and achieved a Mentor Skills Development Training Certificate in 2015. Have completed few other trainings which includes Customer Service, Conflict Management, Time Management, Stress Review, Emotional Intelligence, Customer Protection etc. I am currently in my first year doing LLB degree with UNISA.I have a code 10 driver’s license and own my vehicle
