experience on Quality Assurance, Quality Management System, External & Internal Auditing,
Regulatory Compliance and Supplier Management in the Rail Manufacturing and Aviation
industries.

I am skilled in Quality Management System related standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19011 and AS
9100), documentation management, report writing, presentation and facilitation, root cause
analysis, Total Quality Management principles, procedure writing and analysis and good
communication skills with excellent team management.

Recent accomplishments in my current role includes the implementation & maintenance of
the Quality Management System compliant to the ISO 9001: 2015 in Gibela Rail and
certification & maintenance of ISO 9001:2015 as well as the integration of ISO standards and
Alstom business processes within Gibela Rail.
 

• Responsible for the implementation, certification and maintenance of the ISO 9001
  Quality Management System.
• Develop, implement and improve Quality Management System documentation
  including policies, procedures and the organisation’s Management Manual.
• Management of internal and external audits and action plans resulting from them at
  corporate and depot levels (actual progress consistent with closing deadlines).
• Responsible for preparing the organisation for ISO 9001 Certification & Surveillance
  Audits and liaising with Certification bodies.
• Responsible for training and awareness on Quality Management System
  process application and ISO Standards.
• Involved in the preparation of an Integrated Quality & EHS Management
  System.
• Responsible for standardization of Quality Management System activities
  at corporate and depot level with the Process Correspondents.
• Ensure that development on Quality Management System topics are communicated to
  the organisation.
• Analyse Quality Management reports (Process and Management Reviews) and proposal
  of mitigating actions to address declining trends.
• Member of the Quality Management Review Meetings and responsible for the
  management of Process Reviews and Quality Management Reviews.
• Involved in the development of a quality culture of change in the organisation.
• Ensure that Quality Management System processes are developed, implemented and
  maintained (Business Process Mapping).
• Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Internal
  Audit Programme and Process Review Plan.
• Support Head of Departments on implementation of corrective actions noted during
  audits, process reviews and management reviews.
