I am writing to outline the multi faceted skills, knowledge and experience I have gained within the provision of a Field Service Technician/Electrician’s role whilst adhering to set deadlines, targets and business objectives.  I believe I possess the required capabilities and vital expertise necessary to make a very significant and beneficial contribution to your organization.

I am an extremely hard working, highly self motivated and dependable individual.  As you will note from my enclosed resume, I am currently working for Melco Conveyor Equipment initially employed as Field Service Technician before being promoted to Electrician within the Maintenance Department, reporting directly to clients on mechanical monitoring.  I work well independently and am equally capable of leading a team of operatives, holding an Electrician Trade Certification and having an exemplary service record maintaining and servicing both mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery including motorized pulley’s, CNC machines, lathes and all associated electrical equipment. I am also responsible for creating maintenance schedules for rotation requirements and deliver all duties associated with electrical maintenance according to company policies, procedures and safety requirements; I monitor amperes, voltage balance and running temperatures, ensuring full operational readiness of required machines at all times. During my career I have proven myself to be a good team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, highly trustworthy and diligent.

In addition, I have exemplary organizational and interpersonal skill with the drive and enthusiasm to make a real difference to the organization for whom I work. Throughout my experiences to date, I have developed a wealth of transferable skills, including exceptional organization, time management, planning and communication.  I also work on my own initiative with a high level of self responsibility and play an instrumental role within a successful and productive team.  

I have almost 18 years experience in a maintenance role, from my millwright/electrician apprenticeship, to qualifying as a red seal electrician. I have 13 years in industrial maintenance and 5 years hospital maintenance.
