Benjamin Govender

My name is Benjamin Govender, I am currently a 3rd year Sound Technology Student  at Damelin Overport, majoring in Sound Engineering Live and Studio Production.

I am a passionate musician and engineer, being brought up in the church environment I joined the praise and worship team at the tender age of 5 working my way around learning the bass, rhythm, keys and drums, I am currently the MD at my church (Lystra Worship Center) in Tongaat and I enjoy every minute of doing what I love, that has drawn me into the world of Sound Engineering.

I am writing to express my interest in being apart of your team to help and also to take in as much knowledge and support that is necessary. I have gained tremendous knowledge and skills working at Acoustic Avenue with the Head Engineer as Assistant Engineer. I worked with local and International Artists to mention a few Jimmy dludlu, Anup Jolata, Dilkash, Nick Pittman, Thee legacy, Bollywood Fusion and many more. Working with these diverse and amazing artists I have gained exceptional knowledge in working with different groups, personalities and genres of music which has helped me grow along my journey.
