About Belinda Hobson:

 I am enthusiastic and passionate about the health industry. I am eager to apply for the role of a medical sales representative and to apply my skills to sell transformation and learn new skills.

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1997 from the University of Stellenbosch and have gained 25 years clinical experience as a practicing Occupational Therapist. 

My work experience in this fields includes practicing in South Africa and Ireland working in both private practice and institutional experience.   My institutional experience gains in Ireland between 2002 and 2010 includes valuable experience gains in developing relationships with multi-disciplinary team members of different nationalities and cultures.  My experience in private practice as an independent contractor over the past 13+ years at private primary schools have provided me with an excellent clinical background and allowed me to develop personal goal setting, time-keeping, business administration, report writing and critical thinking skills. 

I am self-motivated, goal orientated and used to working independently in a professional environment.

I believe that my experience and professional skills will be useful in the performance of the role of medical sales representative that my abilities will be valuable addition to your company. 

Experience

Occupational Therapist - Independent contractor at Elkanah House School Blouberg

(2017 – present) 

  • Provide direct occupational therapy services, i.e.  assessment and treatment to learners (4-10 years).
  • Collaboration with multi-disciplinary team. 
  • Consultation with parents and teachers. 
  • Assessments and Reports.

Nanny ‘n Me group facilitator 

(2017 – 2018) 

  • Facilitated groups for nannies caring for babies and toddlers.
  • Educate nannies with regards to development of babies and toddlers.
  • Collaboration with team of 14 Occupational therapists and regular team meetings.
