I am currently based in Newcastle, KwaZulu Natal working as a ISD Officer / Communications Officer for Newcastle Municipality.  

Experience

I have worked as a Communications Officer for 12 years, working to coordinating areas of the company’s communications amd assisting with customer relations.  I also assisted in coordinating internal events in the organization.  Before working for the local government sector I worked three years in the media industry, working as a print, radio and television journalist. 

 

Education

I have a National Diploma in Journalism obtained in 2004,  I am also studying towards a Degree in Communication Science.
