Babalwa Voyi

I am a BTech in Industrial Engineering graduate from the University of South Africa. I also possess a National Diploma in Industrial Engineering from the Cape Peninsula University of Technology. Studying Industrial Engineering came by no accident, it has been a passion of mine for as long as I remember. This course was treated as a jumping-off point, my passion for it lit the way for a bigger interest into the practical and research part of it. I dug in deeper by:

• Researching on the various career opportunities.
• Working hard to obtain my Diploma.
• Getting extensive work experience. 
• Furthering my studies to obtain my BTech Degree; and
• Having the firm sense of responsibility and capacity to work under pressure. 

I am skilled in operation analysis; computer aided drawing; SAP; system evaluation; work ethics; communication; working and dealing with different individuals; and problem solving. I work very well in a team, I have leadership skills, and I have an eye for detail, 

• Bom updates
• Capacity Planning (Capacity overview and internal capacity activities and customer capacity studies i.e., Run @ Rate, GCP studies/Capacity studies)
• Collect, capture, and analyse OEE data
• Conduct time studies and document targets
• Ergonomics-Motion Study, Operator Safety and Performance, method study
• Create and update FMEA’s
