• Carry out induction of all employees including
contractors
• Assist with investigations and report on
accidents and related incidents ,recommending
any changes that may be necessary to ensure
that the company complies with health and
safety regulations
• Review and advice on Personal Protective
Equipment and safety requirements for various
plant processes.
• Align all safe work procedures to new plant
modifications and assist with investigations
that are necessary to improve productivity and
efficiency.
• To administer the generator ,tracking and
monitoring of customer complaints /nonconformances and identify any areas that may
need development or improvement
• Track and ensure that new batch scale ups
are compliant with the required safety,
environment and quality standards.
• Maintain contact with other departments to
audit and monitor that product documentation
and test procedures are accurate.
• Monitoring safe job observations on the
chemical processes to identify any potential
and inherit safety problems.
• Undertake risk assessments to identify
potential hazards and improve safety in
production processes when there is a change
in the production processes.
• Training on safe operating procedures and
refresher training
• Assist with investigations to establish plant
modifications that are necessary to improve
productivity and efficiency.
