STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP

  • Formulate, develop, implement, monitor and review new business strategies to ensure advancement, support community objectives, and create awareness of business objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and potential clients / prospects while developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve new business sales targets and results.
  • Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities, update jobs and market knowledge.
  • Oversee the alignment and integration of externally focused empowerment and development initiatives and/or opportunities with the goals of job creation, poverty alleviation and socio- economic upliftment through work and development opportunities for the Urban Waste Management directorate - Ensure collaboration, transversal cooperation, service delivery and programme execution of cross-cutting projects and service improvement initiatives within the functional area, within the city and across the Province.
  • Ensure effective reporting, information management and monitoring - Oversee the inclusive economic development and growth programmes for the Urban Waste Management.
