Ashley Wilkinson

I have been working in the drug and alcohol rehabilitation field as the admissions manager for 14 years. I deal with people in crisis and assist in guiding and helping them into a treatment facility. I am patient, kind and understanding with a strong and passionate work ethic.

Before working in the Rehabilitation field I owned and ran various small businesses such as food delivery, courier company, business brokerage, advertising franchise in Virgin Active, transfer company and a paving manufacturing company. I am currently a part owner and director of a well know and established Halfway House for recovering addicts.

I have comfortably managed a staff compliment of up to 20 people, I understand what is needed to run a successful organization. from staff, management, sales, administration and accounting. 

I have extensive experience setting and maintaining ROM’s and KPI’s  

I am very computer literate and work on all Microsoft products as well as Sage accounting and hospital / medical aid billing.

I am dedicated and committed to my work and thrive under pressure.  I am compassionate and am able to listen and hear people.

I am extremely motivated to achieve and succeed both for myself and the organization I’m representing.

I started working as a receptionist then  pa and then took over as head of desk top publishing. 
I bought my first business while I was there and then for the next 20 years I bought and built up small business to sell at a profit. 

I learnt a lot over the years, running different businesses, managing staff, working with financials and  focusing on marketing and sales. 
 

I went into rehab myself 16 years ago and fell in love with the medical / rehab environment. Helping and supporting those in need. 
I have been employed as an admissions manager for 15 years and also done hospital billing and authorizations. 
I am also a director and 33% shareholder in a very successful and well regarded halfway / sober house in Ferndale. I manage and do invoicing and books, projections and admissions after hours.

I pride myself in being a fast learner and capable of setting and achieving goals. I work hard to create growth within an organization.

I matriculated from Bryanston High school in 1989, went to secretarial college for a year and then began my working journey, having fun and learning along the way.
