I am an accomplished Customer Excellence Manager with extensive expertise in bid management, commercial governance, customer support and sales administration. With a solid background in electrical engineering, I have combined technical knowledge with strategic insight to drive exceptional customer experiences and deliver high-impact results.

My role as Bid Manager at Conlog has given me exposure to the energy management, prepayment and smart metering industry within the African market, specifically South Africa, Zambia, Nigeria, Angola, Uganda and SADC countries. My role consists largely of managing all commercial opportunities from receipt to delivery and includes facilitating post bid submission reviews. I manage a formal risk framework for all opportunities to ensure that all risks have appropriate mitigation plans. In addition, I manage the compliance of all commercial processes ensuring that clear, defined governance steps are achieved at each stage.
Further my current role as a customer excellence manager allows to manage and support customers from the pre-bid through the billing process and encompasses management of post sales support. This role has allowed me to achieve a 360 degree view of the customer, allowing for a pro-active approach to customer, addressing concerns before they escalate.
My role also extends to contract management and involves review of all commercial contract documentation confirming they align with the company’s risk management guidelines. My technical background together with my experience as a technical writer and application engineer have allowed me to contribute to this role in the form of extensive content creation. I am responsible for all bid and proposal content creation and regularly engage with the Sales team, Subject Matter Experts and Technical and Commercial leads to develop compelling technical and financial proposals.
I hold a Bachelor of Technology in Management a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a diploma in Business Management and have completed a Management Advancement program through Wits Business School. My greatest strength would be my versatility and ability to adapt to different environments whilst adding my unique perspective. I also consider my ability to combine my technical and commercial knowledge and present this to the customer in a simplified compelling document as a formidable skill. I believe output and merit are a key measure of my performance. I am happy to dedicate my time and energy to a role where I determine my success through the application of my skill and knowledge.
