I'm a Buyer with 4 years in Procurement and over 10 years of work experience in different sectors, namely; Retail, FMCG, Customer Relationship Improvement, Project Management and NGO. This has helped come full-circle and adaptable with an analytical mind. My skill-set includes stock-level management, product and supplier sourcing, price and contract negotiation. My experience and positive attitude have made me an important part of the Procurement Team. This has also helped me with dealing with suppliers and managing my KPI's.  

I consider myself as a “forever student” as I am always eager and willing to learn and continuing to find new ways to improve they way I work as well as being adaptable to learn new systems and MRP. My hunger for knowledge and determination has assisted in improving the productivity in my team for working smarter with optimum outputs.  

My working career contains different sectors/industries, namely: Retail, FMCG, NGO, and Telecommunications; this has helped come full circle and balanced. I have managed to rise up on many occasions where I have been thrown in the deep end. I take pride in my work and respecting those I work with. 

I would like to apply for this position because I believe with the extensive experience and skill-set that I have acquired throughout my working career and the educational skills that I received during my student years I believe that I can make a great contribution to the company and the brand. I am equipped with the correct tools needed for this position. I am always willing to learn and working with others in a team. I believe that commitment, determination and discipline are the main things you need in order to survive in a working environment. Learning from my superiors in order to be in line with the vision, strategies and objectives, this way I am able to deliver what they want and more. With all of this knowledge I can definitely assist the Executive Team and colleagues achieve their goals and targets. 

 

I wish to utilize and expand my pre-existing skills and experience, Business Intelligence and Administration. I am seeking for a challenging environment to increase both the client satisfaction and company’s overall targets.

I am currently studying BCOM Supply Chain Management.
