Anula Deysel

I matriculated in 1993 and received my National Diploma in Tourism and Travel from CUT in 1996.  I was appointed as the Private Secretary of the National Business Manager for the Coach business in Transnet Engineering in 1997.  In 2004 I was promoted to Executive Secretary.  In 2007, I applied for the Project Administrator position in our Project Management office and after 4 years, I was promoted to Project Manager.  My direct Manager resigned in 2015, and I became the Acting Centre Head of Projects for the Free State region.  I acted in this position from 1 April 2015 to 30 October 2021.  I also received my  Diploma in Advance Project Management from the UFS Business School in 2020 receiving the reward for  Top Student of the 2020 class.

I have been able to advance in my career through demonstrated initiative and the ability to work effectively under pressure.  I had the opportunity to work independently in a complex environment which has strengthened my communication and organisational skills and I have an ongoing commitment to professional development.
