Anru Bodenstein

I started of 2019 by doing freelance work for KCS Designs based in Pretoria. My job mainly concisted of doing 3D renderings, Photoshop and designs of interiors. We worked on some big companies and small ones ranging from barbershops to entire large offices.   In 2020 I decided to start my own alcoholic ice cream company Gelachol. Invested a lot of my own money and time. While I was waiting for trademarks on the company to be completed I stayed busy by building my own furniture and crafting décor for events. 2021 mainly consisted of me focusing my time on getting Gelachol up and running. As an added income stream during 2021 I was a photographer for multiple matric farewells. At the end of 2021 Gelachol had its first markets where I started selling my products.   Start of 2022 unfortunately the market I was located at closed down. This caused me to be on the waiting list of multiple markets for months on end. I then found interest in furniture designing with a fellow student from university. We also worked together on a full design of a restaurant called The Tasting Room in Waterkloof. 

I studied at TUT(Tshwane University of Technology) for three years and finished my diploma in Interior Design. In my third year of studying I worked for two months at an interior design company called Space Jam. I received my National Diploma in Interior design from TUT(Tshwane University of Technology) in 2018. I finished my B-tech in 2018 and passed Cum Laude. In 2018 I also worked for four months at a shop fitting company called Creative Touch Shop fitting where I did all of the technical drawings for them. We worked with large international companies such as Clinique and Bobby Brown.
