• Establishes and ensures that the processes for effective scope control (i.e. Trend and Change Management) for the project are in place and that these processes are agreed by the client and they are managed in accordance with Company’s Best Practice.
• Ensures that Company’s standard suite of tools and procedures are properly set-up and deployed at the project.
• Establishes project field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by jobsite conditions
• Manage interfaces, integration and coordination between different construction contractors
• Review and approve construction estimates, budgets, forecasts, and schedules
• Review construction/erection drawings and specifications,
• develop strategies for erection interfaces, determine appropriate construction methods and pre-empt problem areas
• Ensure the necessary permits and licenses (notice of project, insurance certificates, workers compensation, environmental permits etc.) are identified and obtained prior to the start of construction activities on site
• Liaison between Contractor and Engineers to resolve field engineering queries
• Ensure adherence to all local regulations and statutory requirements in site activities planning
• Assist the procurement team to review contractual agreements with clients, suppliers, and contractors
• Liaise with client representatives as required to ensure shutdowns, relocations, tie ins, etc. are planned safely and in a timely manner with minimum disruption
• Recommend requirements for construction resources and strategies to meet the schedule in each area
• Obtains client's acceptance of the work and sign-off for the completed construction works.
• Ensures compliance to the project Environmental and Safety Management Plan.
• Strong communications with the client and the project team
