• Providing general strategic and legal advice, including specialized opinions to clients;

•  Attending to general employment, recruitment and selection issues and providing specialist advice on labour practices and wage negotiations;
• Assisting and advising Human Resources Managers and Directors in all functions;

• Drafting and attending to various CCMA in limine applications, arbitrations, Labour Court proceedings, High Court proceedings, including, urgent interdicts relating to breaches of restraint of trades and writs of execution;

• Attending to, and responding to, Department of Labour undertakings, compliance orders, (BCEA and SD9) prohibition notices and contravention notices (OHSA) and providing comprehensive responses on behalf of clients in respect of Director General Employment Equity Reviews;

• Drafting collective agreements including consolidated collective agreements; 
• Providing advice to, and various engagement, with various bargaining councils;
• Strong knowledge of labour laws and Sectoral Determinations, including, providing advice in respect of  changes and developments in regard to the protection of personal information;
• Assisting with Skills Development, including, drafting submissions to BUSA on behalf of various retailors in respect of Seta Grant Regulations etc;
