Amos Mabidikama is an experienced senior Manager and with nearly two decades of operational and strategic experience spanning the Construction, Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Chemical, and Animal Feed sectors at different organizational levels. Since joining Yara International in 2018, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s Operations and HESQ direction, promoting operations excellence, and integrating Lean and HESQ management systems across all operations.

Throughout his career, Amos has driven measurable results in operational efficiency, safety culture transformation, and environmental stewardship. A recipient of Yara’s Global Safety Award in 2021 and a top-four finalist globally in 2022, he is recognized for his ability to align people, processes, and performance. Combining technical expertise with strong leadership and collaboration skills, Amos continues to advance operational excellence and sustainable business outcomes

  • Responsible for facilitation and compilation of the local organizations site HESQ strategy                                                     
  • Managing Quality control laboratory for incoming raw materials, in process and finished products

YPS – Lean Manufacturing

  • Managing and coordination of Yara Productivity System (YPS)
  • Facilitation of Lean opportunities within the organization
  • Liaison with CSIR on lean initiatives
  • Incorporation of ISO55001 into YPS                      

Product Quality

  • Managing operational aspects of the quality Lab
  • Initiating investigation in improving quality performance of the plant in collaboration with production
