About Amina Sheikh:

As a graduate- Honors in education, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career at onsite or online. With experience working at both the elementary and high school levels, as well as in activities outside of the traditional classroom, I have a diverse background with much to offer. 

I am an open-minded and dynamic educator and should have a progressive, passionate approach to teaching and curriculum development, in order to ensure that the school I am employed in is at the forefront of the 21st century education.

My 15 years of teaching experience has taught me to work in a healthy team culture with strong leadership qualities. My well-developed inter-personal skills have helped me to have the ability to lead, inspire and empower.

In 2016, the computer teacher at Crescent Girls High School went on maternity leave. (Sister School to Al Azhar School of Durban) My Time-table at Al Azhar School was amended.

I worked at Crescent School from 7:30 to 11:00 am. Half an hour was given to me for travelling, parking the car and being in my lessons at Al Azhar School of Durban from 11:30 onwards at Al Azhar School.

I taught CAT (Computer Application Technology) at Crescent School from Grades 10 to 12.
