I like to see something missing in the retail market and conceptualize, develop and source a product, even create new and innovative packaging. I run from start to finish with a product, and I find great satisfaction in seeing a product I had a part in developing on the shelves. I have strong admin/planning skills, which I have put into practice when planning and selling at expos for our internal brands.

I have over 16 years of experience in graphic design, covering print, digital, product, and web. I have experience building a brand, from its digital presence to its physical product. My design aspiration is to lead a team specializing in product design/innovation where I can use my skills throughout the project, from graphic design to brand management and exposure.

I am a team player who can operate under strict deadlines and am always ready for the next task. I enjoy working with clients and manufacturers to bring a concept into the real world. I have been integrally involved at DMQ Trading over the last four years creating material that elevated the business and helped gain new exciting business.

Over the past four years, I have grown in my skill set and become confident in my administration and organization capabilities. I am a dynamic, organized human who would not classify herself as just a graphic designer.

Product development and innovation at DMQ Trading

• Manage the workflow within the Graphic Design department
• Manage the various marketing campaigns within the approved budget
• Manage the online marketing platforms.
• Manage all marketing expos and events.
• Identify relevant advertising opportunities and implement them. 
• Conceptualize/design and schedule advertisements, across various mediums. 
• Manage and create content across various social media platforms.
• Conceptualize and design: mock-ups by CAD.
• Conceptualize and design: new products, packaging, and merchandising solutions.
• Conceptualize and design: improvements to existing products, packaging, and merchandising solutions.
• Conceptualize and design: instruction manuals.

Resource Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate the marketing team to:
Oversee and distribute areas of work between the team according to ability and capacity.
Schedule / create / design advertisements and other vehicles for social media marketing. 
Identify relevant events and advertising opportunities to tie in with the ethos of our brands.
• Manage and coordinate with the Brand Managers to:
Assist the In-house Brand Managers with new/updated product developments.
Prepare and present draft Marketing budgets to management for approval on an annual basis.
Monitor and control marketing expenditures, together with the Business Manager.
Manage and coordinate all expos and events
Run promotional campaigns on various online platforms in line with the strategic marketing plan.
• Manage and coordinate the design team to:
Design / conceptualize new design improvements to an existing product, product in development, packaging, and merchandise solutions by generating CADS with Photoshop or any other design package as required.
Assist with factory briefs and client briefs to explain required outcomes for new products comprehensively and effectively.
