• Reconcile daily dispatch reports for our clients, after receipt from company owned mines and or Weighbridge dispatch reports.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of the data received.
• Share the updated reconciliation with the client.
• Follow up with the relevant role-players, be it the mine, transporter and/or client should any queries emanate from such a reconciliation.
• Update and share the daily stock and dispatch reports for the various mines to all concerned/affected parties within the company.
• Share the reconciliation with the transporter to ensure that both dispatch and receipts are completed accurately for control and invoicing purposes.
• Deal with any queries regarding missing loads and alert the Head logistics where any major issues occur.
• Liaise with the accounts department, once approached by them to ensure that the invoices are submitted, tie back to the captured reconciliations.
• Regular updates on WhatsApp groups to customers, the mine, trader and transport: Posting orders, loading orders, stockpile details, transporter/truck lists any amendments and issues for any of the parties that may be impacted in a change of details.
• Ensure regular data clean ups take place to ensure the spreadsheets can be accessed speedily and large file data should be archived once these documents /spreadsheets become too large.
• Lead and guide and mentor other two logistics staff members

Experience.

• MIN 5 years experience from within the logistics and transport division of a mining company
• Experience with dealing with FOT and FOB logistics
• Experience in both ROAD and RAIL TRANSPORT
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong EXCEL skills.
• Supervisory experience
• Own transport.
• Willing to work after hours and on the odd weekend from time to time. Staff take turns to take home company phone to deal with after hours queries
• Disciplined 
• Punctual
