Key Responsibilities:

As Airport Information Desk Operator, (March 2014 to June 2017) will be responsible for providing accurate and timely information to passengers and visitors, as well as updating the Flight Information Display Systems (FIDS) at the airport. This role will involve communicating with passengers, airport authorities, airlines, and other service providers to ensure that all information is up-to-date and accurate.

  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of airport operations, regulations, and policies.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, including daily flight schedules, airport news, and updates.
  • Provide administrative support to the airport operations team, including tracking of work schedules and incident reporting.
  • Collaborate with other airport departments, such as security and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations.
  • VIP Lounge: 
  • Assisting passengers, dealing with high profile government officials and all international celebrities.  
  • (Relief Function) as Apron Officer: 
  • Includes dealing with landing, approaching, parking and fuel fees.
 
Safety in smaller towns like Whiteriver is becoming a great concern, and like many other individuals, Ade’l has decided to move to a larger city. Also, her family is resident in Gauteng.
