Abongile Swana

My name is Abongile Athi Swana, and I am writing in application for the position of Legal Manager as advertised on Linkedin.

I am a young and ambitious female who is currently employed as a Group Legal Manager at Paycorp Group (Pty) Ltd. I am seeking to expand my horizons and the position applied for is fitting for this purpose.

Working in an international corporate law firm provided me with the opportunity to advise various entities on regulatory issues, consider and interpret various statues, contracts and deal with litigious and non-litigious matters. During my stint at the Ports Regulator of South Africa, I was exposed to the regulatory and compliance environment. In my current position, I am in charge of the legal department of a group of companies and I facilitate all the legal activities of the group of companies. I am continuously seeking to capacitate myself in whatever field I find myself in.

I have 5 years post admission experience in litigation, legal opinions, contract drafting etc.

I hold an LLB and an LLM in Business Law
